On October 10, 2026, the company completed its second rename in four months, becoming SpaceXSI. The official X account @SpaceXAI was renamed @SpaceXSI and the display name was updated to match. By October 12, x.ai served the title SpaceXSI and the xAI blog header carried the new name, completing the transition across the company's primary web surfaces. The rename followed SpaceX's all-stock acquisition of xAI in February 2026 and the earlier rebrand to SpaceXAI in July 2026. The sequence of renames tracked the integration of the independent xAI lab, founded in 2023, into SpaceX's corporate identity after the merger. The Grok model line continued under the new name. The SpaceXAI name had itself been in use for only three months before being replaced.
